Luca Monteregge

Artist/writer based in Guildford, United Kingdom.

Working with text and photography to explore the banality of existing and weaving interstitial spaces such as dreams or the human psyche into contemporary narratives.

These overarching topics interested me whilst studying at Chelsea College of Arts - exploring abstraction, image-making and photography as methods to unlock fantastical elements of daily and inner-life. Words, poetry and prose were a recurring motif. Subsequently resulting in alchemical and rudimentary technique, using modern history to inform beyond real stories.

Frequent collaborators include graphic designer Caden Silver, and photographers Jamie A Waters and Gabriel Monteregge.
