On the proverbial outskirts of the capital, the last bastion of child normalcy clings to an abandoned English country house. Ransacked, provision-less and beaten by an unforgiving mother Earth – Magic, a unit leader in the hold-out, is met with a single unerring military message: to come forward or taken by force.





In April 2015, the stately manor of Clandon House was set aflame after an electrical fault. It serves Salt Water as stimuli and locale, in a world where coming-to-age and self-sovereignty is undergoing a seminal authoritarian shift.
